Welcome

The year 2012 marks the 18th anniversary of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. The success of our wonderful enterprise reflects the societal changes that are leading us, slowly but surely, to greater self-responsibility in health care. Wholesome nutrition is indisputably the cornerstone of good health.

The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) is the first school in Canada to offer classroom studies in holistic nutrition, and our commitment to quality education has resulted in CSNN being the largest, leading school in holistic nutrition education, offering both classroom and correspondence studies. CSNN offers a comprehensive practical foundation program in Natural Nutrition leading to the Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.)™ designation, a diploma program in Advanced Holistic Nutrition™, plus an Elder Care Program leading to the Registered Elder Care Practitioner (R.E.C.P.)™ designation.

CSNN’s practical science based Natural Nutrition program empowers holistic nutritionists™/holistic nutritional consultants™ with the fundamental tools and skills needed for a career in the complementary health care field. R.H.N. Registered Holistic Nutritionists™ are dedicated professionals, who create individualized whole foods, lifestyle, and supplement plans for their clients, empowering their clients to achieve optimal health. Holistic Nutritionists™ endorse the promotion of whole, locally grown organic foods; sustainable farming practices; and a non-toxic environment. The Advanced Holistic Nutrition™ courses/workshops give holistic nutritionists a deeper understanding, plus additional tools for their practice. Graduates of CSNN’s Natural Nutrition program receive automatic entrance into the Advanced Holistic Nutrition™ program. Graduates of other holistic nutrition programs are welcome to apply.

By 2026 it is estimated that almost 25% of the Canadian population will be over the age of 65* creating a large opportunity in the field of gerontology. As a result, CSNN has created an Elder Care program that has a practical and holistic approach to caregiving. Graduates of CSNN’s Natural Nutrition program receive advanced standing into the 1st of the 4 modules of CSNN’s Elder Care Practitioner™ program.

At CSNN we are committed to providing practical career tools, along with strong student support networks and services. CSNN’s highly qualified instructors and dedicated managers help make your experience at CSNN both enlightening and enjoyable. We at CSNN look forward to the continuing opportunity of educating the public, as we have done throughout the past 18 years.
